The refurbished 2021 is a bit over £100 cheaper and I will be using it for 3D modelling sculpture and art to be 3D printed so am not to concerned about rendering times but need decent graphics performance whilst actually modelling. I am coming from a 2012 MacBook Pro retina so obviously either of these models will leave it in the dust. On paper they look very similar with the old model having very marginal CPU advantage in benchmarks and a better SSD but worse graphics and potentially worse battery life due to the efficiency cores. As the title suggests I am torn between ordering the new 10 core 2023 base binned model or a refurbished 2021 10 core model with the 1tb SSD.
